Sensibly LLC™: Artificial Pancreas
Sensibly, LLC started as my senior thesis. It evolved into a full development team that filed patents, applied for NIH and EU grants, and was endorsed by Eric Schmidt of Google through his investment firm Innovation Endeavors. Sensibly is a bi-hormonal insulin pump for Type 1 Diabetics. Including both Insulin and Glucagon in conjunction with a continuous blood glucose monitor, Sensibly acts as the world's first artificial pancreas.
